Cara Delevingne shares the secret to her iconic eyebrows.

On Thursday, November 21, the 32-year-old model and actress brought her signature look to the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Celebration in West Hollywood, California. She looked chic in a dark gray pinstripe suit with a partially unbuttoned white button. downshirt, with a pair of ivory strappy sandals for a feminine touch.

At the event, Celevingne told PEOPLE about her go-to hack for perfect brows — and it might surprise you.

“People always ask me what brow gel I use,” she said. “Honestly, since I was younger, the best eyebrow gel I’ve ever used is L’Oréal Elnett [hairspray] on a mascara brush. It’s simply the best.”

She continued, “Sometimes brow gel can be really heavy and hard to remove, and Elnett is just so sleek, and I always think that works better than anything else.”

Delevingne, who was recently announced as an ambassador for L’oreal Paris, also shared that her daily makeup routine is very “simplistic.”

‘I always wear the [L’Oréal] Color rich [Satin Lipstick] in red in my bag,” she said. “If I just want to throw something on, if my skin is particularly blotchy right now, I’ll just wear a red lipstick or something.”

“I usually go for one big thing, whether it’s eyes or lips,” she explained. “So the [L’Oréal] Panorama Mascara or the Color Riche lipstick, just something simple because it just draws you in. It just draws attention to one place.”

The Only murders in the building actress also admitted that she’s “not the best at doing my own makeup.”

“People always ask me, ‘You must be so good at makeup,’” she recalls. “I’ve seen so many people do it, and that’s really not the case. I’m a testament to how tricky makeup can be, because I’m not that good. But when I do it, I just keep it simple.”

During a recent conversation with comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview magazinethe model opened up about her experiences with Taylor Swift after a breakup.

“I was going through a terrible breakup and she let me live with her,” said Delevingne, who is now dating girlfriend Minke.

She continued, “We are very different people. She’s very homely, because she took such good care of me, but we got into trouble – no trouble, but I definitely took her for a bit of a wild ride.”

“It would be great to make her blush,” Delevingne added.
