Chris Hemsworth is passing his stunts on to the next generation!
On Saturday, November 23, the Transformers One actor, 41, showed a glimpse of his mentoring skills when he taught one of his twin sons how to do a backflip.
In a clip shared to his Instagram, Hemsworth demonstrated how to start the stunt while in a gym. ‘Straight up. Go ahead. Just like I showed you,” he told the 10-year-old boy before stepping aside and letting him try it for himself.
Hemsworth’s son waved his arms back before taking off and completing the backflip, although his head almost hit the ground halfway through. “Sick,” the proud father commented, before showing the boy a technique to gain more height.

“One adjustment, right? You want to do this,” Hemsworth said before the clip cut to the star – in a different set of clothes – doing a perfect backflip. ‘Look, like this. That’s what you want to do, okay?”
He captioned the video: “Just teaching my young fella the real technique of backflipping. Kind of like yoda/skywalker #haterswillsayitsfake.”
Hemsworth’s three children – daughter India Rose, 12, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, whom he shares with wife Elsa Pataky – have previously shown enthusiasm for their father’s stunt work.

Last year the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star revealed to PEOPLE that his children were fans of the stunts he did in the film. “My kids love it, my kids love it,” he said while attending the Extraction 2 premiere in New York City.
“My kids were on set a lot to see this stuff,” he added. “And they wanted to jump in front of the camera and participate.”

Hemsworth’s daughter and one of his sons have also dipped their toes into the movie business, making cameos in his 2022 film Thor: Love and thunder. His children also gave their famous father some advice when it came down to it Transformers One.
At San Diego Comic Con in July, the proud father told PEOPLE that when he was offered the role of Orion Pax (aka Optimus Prime) in the film, he consulted his children. “I said, ‘What do you think?’ And they said, ‘You have to do it,'” he recalled.
Hemsworth said his three children “played a big role” in the decision to join the prequel and even gave him advice in the voiceover booth. “They were in the background while I was recording a lot of these lines. They were kind of shouting suggestions or trying to distract me,” he told PEOPLE. “It was cool.”
