European Union Traineeship Details:

Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about the work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in Nigeria?

European Union is offering a traineeship of 6 months within the Green and Digital Economy Section of the EU Delegation in Nigeria, starting by end of May the latest.

The Green and Digital Economy Section of the EU Delegation is in charge of managing projects and programs spanning the sectors of: agriculture, climate, renewable energy and energy efficiency, circular economy, innovation and digitalization, youth employment, MSMEs, and investment.

Eligibility Requirements for European Union Traineeship 2025

To be considered for the European Union Traineeship, you must have:

At least a Bachelor degree of relevance to the field of work, e.g. international relations, political science, law, communications, journalism or similar degree;
Excellent spoken and written English, French and Arabic an advantage;
Excellent analytical and drafting skills; and good IT skills essential;
Knowledge of Qatari politics an advantage.

Benefits of European Union Traineeship 2025

Each selected trainee will receive a monthly grant to cover living expenses.
On average, trainees can expect to receive approximately €600 per month.
This financial support is designed to help cover living expenses during the traineeship.
The European Union traineeship is to be held for up to 6 months within the Political, Press, and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Nigeria in May 2025.

You will be required to submit the following documents;

A detailed standard Europass curriculum vitae (CV) (CVs in other format will not be considered)
a cover letter describing why you want to participate in a EU traineeship
and an application form
